More Pretty Glass Pebbles and Marbles

I enjoyed the first painting I did, "Pretty Glass Pebbles and Marbles" so, that I have added a companion piece. I wanted some more colors and a different angle than the first one has. This is a digital painting, not a manipulation. I used my Wacom- electronic graphics tablet & wireless stylus- and Corel's Painter IX.5 art software to paint this. I select the brush sizes, shapes, colors, pressure of strokes, mediums, and have to paint from a blank canvas. This is not a photo-shopped photo. I used photos to reference the lighting that I took and looked at the pebbles and marbles on my table as I worked. I hope you enjoy this one as well as the first work.

oeeeeeeeeehhh great art hereee....... well done girl !!!!

Artist Reply: Thank you Blue Doll! I started these paintings to learn to use an oily paint brush in the art program. It had a cool look to it. I thought these pebbles would be perfect to play with it. More to come in this series.

The colors are nice!

Artist Reply: Thanks Stanely! I've gathered a few more assortments of pebbles and marbles towork on. Fortuantely, these are popular with home decor accents at the moment. More varieties keep popping up, so I'm always looking for them. I'm planning some mosiacs in my garden with them, so am getting many multiple uses from them.
