~WATERCOLORED ROOSTER on an envelope~

A new addition to the series:
"Letters to my Mother"

My Mom loves them and so does our post office around the corner, when I personally hand in a new painted envelope to my Mom!

The rooster is often (accurately) pictured in art as crowing at the break of dawn.
Since we have to get up so early in the morning,
I thought it was nice to show my Mom how a rooster in our neighborhood is calling for the sun even before our alarm goes off!

My Mom lives on a beautiful

HOUSE BOAT
in the Netherlands, on the river Vecht,
between Utrecht and Amsterdam.
Her twin daughters (I'm one of them) both live abroad so we send her letters.
