Thunder Booms!

Photo taken with a HP945 digital camera, and then framed in PhotoFiltre. No alterations. There was an incredible thunder and lightening storm in the wee hours the other day and I managed to capture some lightening... But the thunder scared the heck out of me as I was taking the picture and as you can see, I shook a little bit. It felt like the ground was shaking! The storm was non a stop show for about 2 hours. My hubby and I loved it. Hope you all are enjoying your weekends. Stay safe, laugh often. Hugs. :o)

Artist Reply: It is in my nature to 'chase' storms.. try and capture them anyway I can.. My husband shares this love of storms with me so thankfully he doesn't think I'm completely out of my mind, lol! I am very pleased you enjoyed this photo also, I was hesitant about posting it, because of the distortions - but it seemed to add to the over all 'feel' of what was happening. And yes, the loud BOOM really got me! lol! A tonne of fun to capture. Hope you enjoy your weekend. Cheers. :o)
