Imagine how happy I was to see this donkey close to the road and find a place to pull over and park safely!! At first, she was standing under a mesquite tree with low-hanging limbs but quickly trotted over to the fence. I managed to get one quick shot as she closed the distance. She seemed friendly so I reached out my hand to pat her head, noticed there were cobwebs hanging around her ears and nose so proceeded to pull the web off and attach it to the fence rail. It was a unique and fun experience, ending when she trotted away to see what else there was to get into.
