Artist Reply: Oh my I am blushing now! I can only say that this painting represents one of the few times in my life where I had a "religous experience". The church is situated in near Longlac, Ontario. It is like a fortress of solitude when you go there. I truely questioned the existance of god there and it motivated me to paint it.
