I wrote this poem devoted to
my friend
and husband Fred.
The Sun has risen
To warm up the earth
My dreams are with you

This is one of my earliest acrylic art work, dedicated to the Dutch National Pride, THE TULIP.
Since there's an Anarthic cold striking
the North Eastern part of the USA
(Pennsylvania, where I live) with temperatures far
below zero (Celcius and Fahrenheit!) I
titled my painting:
"DUTCH SNOW
JOB."
For the 2nd image I fiddled around in Printshop de Lux. It gives an even a more frozen/ icy look!
I framed it in a wooden frame, which I
painted in the same colors as the background of this painting.
Kinda
spiffy!

Olga, I love this painting...but I also really loved the one that was rejected by AW...My father vistied Holland often and brought us wonderful tulip bulbs to plant all over our NE Pa. town.
