American Beauty

Copyright 2007. David J. Vanderpool Lets thanks the cold winter storms we are experiencing across America, that kept me indoors this weekend so I can work on this drawing which I have titled American Beauty. Those here that know me, know that all my drawings are lines and cross-hatching. Never blending in my drawings. However this time you will notice a blurried background of what should appears to be the waves of an ocean. Hoping allowing the lighlights and her to stand out a little more than if the background was white. Let's keep hope once I get my glasses replaced I wont be too hard on myself when I see the details and where I messed up here. Yes.... I'm still drawing without my glasses. AHHHHH!!
