Hosea 14:8 "I (God speaking) am a green fir tree, from Me is thy fruit found." The smell, that drives away bad insects, that emminates from the cedars of Lebanon (the fir tree) represents eternal life through and in God because the cedar always stays green. "Fruit" are the actions we perform doing work for God which God provides for us to do. Decorating the evergreen tree of Christmas, and giving presents to each other to celebrate the exact moment Emanuel = God dwelling with man,....took place, has been passed down through hundreds of years. But this holy-day is really about His (Christ's)conception on December 25th,...not his birth. Mary, immediately after the Holy Spirit placed the embrio in her womb, ran to her cousin Elizabeth, six months with John the Baptist in her womb, was filled with the Holy Spirit as her baby leaped in her womb at the presence of the Lord. Elizabeth, in the book of Luke, became pregnant shortly after the feast day of Abib back in what would be June of that year on our calenders. That would make September 29th,...the Feast of Tabernacles, Jesus true birthday. Which by the way is the first feast day the world will celebrate together after the Second Advent with Jesus as King of kings and Lord of lords. Zach:last chapter.
