Mt. Kita from Mt. Kaikoma

This is a view I found while exploring the large granite boulders atop Mt. Kaikoma in the Japanese South Alps. There are some great views from up there and after shooting some of the standard compositions I wanted to find something a little different. Again, this is a camera phone photo. My film photos are waiting to visit the lab for processing. Mt. Kita is Japan's second highest mountain at 3,192 metres. The mountain close in behind is Mt. Aino, Japan's fourth highest mountain at 3,189 metres. I climbed them both in 2004.
