Image of a ruined cathedral with angel standing in front of a stained glass window. The angel is originally a wall relief sculpture that was found in a ruined gothic cathedral somewhere in Europe. I liked the idea so I made her a 3-D sculpture and changed her here and there. I kept the stained glass in place because it reminded me of a chapel I used to go to when I went to church camp as a youth. The name is from Psalms 46:10 and it goes on to say that God is here no matter what happens. I used to sit in the chapel by myself and look at the stained glass and always felt especially close to God. I like to think no matter what happens to us, God will remain with us, through strife, chaos, war, troubles of all kinds, his love will still shine on us.
