Ballerina

John Rutt again allowed my to render one of his photos and share with you all the result. I really like the ballet because it implements many of the major aspects of art (dance, music) and many famous artists created their masterpieces that document this form of art. I really admire the work of Degas; though this is definitely not even close to his calibre, I hope you all like it anyway. :)

Wonderful elegant work, Lyle. Love ballet images!

This is even more lovely than Degas...to me it is...No offense to him...I love the blue aura and gold that shines from her feet...she wears a soft crown of light...like a bird about to fly...a flower set free in the thought of music...this is Truly amazing...Masterful...impressive work, Lyle. The soft blue flame of the dance ignited in the dark...great use of clors and center focus on the dancer...Excellent brush work and style...

Artist Reply: I've passed you an email too, but I have to blush at this response Christine. I'm just a simulator (several layers and blends, but still pretty much a simulation). My sister got me a copy of Degas and the Dance for Christmas; I still believe the master will never be reproduced. I really do like the challenge though. :)
