Poster version of Hooded Detainee. Made from NYT's News Papers. Medium Paper Mache.I feel the NYT's was one of the major medium's used to disinform the public. This is part of a series titled, Times Neglect. A play on their slogan, Times Select. Perhaps these images are all the individuals they do not accurately cover when they finally get around to covering it.

You are doing excellent political art. I think we have to use art to support our beliefs. it is a powerful weapon for change.

Maybe once the Elections are over, we will begin to see Political Art become more mainstreamed as well , being that the polls state that most Americans are against the war in Iraq. Perhaps after Novemeber, everyone's voice will be heard. Not the sanitized version that we've been getting for too long. I can only hope. Again, Thank you. Jude

Yeah I'm about as ballsey in my art as ole GWB is with his Global Regime Changes, except for a few things, I'm a female, I have a conscience and I detest those that use others for their corporate gains.. Must admit, this administration gives me way too much to work with. Which is so unfortunate. Like maybe I'de just like to paint a dumb flower is all and wake up knowing that the world will still be here..:-)
