This is my beloved George. Sir George Frederick Herber, IV is his full name, coming from a line of championship show dogs... that of course ended the showmanship with me. A Mini Schnauzer that I've had for 14 years. I was 18 when I got him- my boyfriend at the time asked me if I would like an engagement ring or a dog for Christmas. You see my choice. This dog is the love of my life... he has brought so much joy to me. George is suffering from severe Arthritis and can barely walk, he suffers daily and cries in his sleep. He is scheduled to be put to sleep this Saturday. I have tried all that I can afford to try... and had to make the horrible decision to end his suffering. Tomorrow is his last day with me and I will spend it entirely with him. My beloved George. He is like my child. He is my heart... and my heart is breaking.
