Vine on a tree

I spotted this lovely vine growing on a tree at the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix last year. Not the best quality camera with me that day, but I love the way the scene looked, so I took a photo of it.

Artist Reply: Thanks! I was under the tree that had low hanging branches. I spotted the vine as I wandered around under the tree. I liked the way the lightinng was as well.

The subtle colors--violet and light green are unusual and lovely...

Artist Reply: Thank you Sarah! I thought so as well, especial as it was growing up a desert tree in at the gardens. It was unexpected and charming to see. Will be going again in 2 weeks and will see if the vine is growing still this year. Will have a nicer camera this time.
