Winter garden in Arizona

Just waiting for spring flowers to start growing. My desrt garden has aloe flowers that make hummingbirds happy. I'm planting pines to make a frest of green on one side of my house to give me something green besides cacti to look at. Planting as often as I can. My garden changes thoughout the year.

Great desert garden picture!

Artist Reply: Thank you! The aloe is a plant that the rabbits leave alone and grow quicly. Great for sunburn and scratches!

ah yes, its only here where u have flowers in dec and jan. but with no water we wont nothing but sticks and rocks soon! great shot

Artist Reply: LOL! Usually my garden would be exploding in blooms and growth all over at this time of year. Last year with the rains, it was the record wildflower growth. THis year, the opposite and a drought! If I didn't have a deep well, I wouldn't have any water to send to the garden. Putting off plantng alot of flowers this years due to the dryness. Will settle on trees and bushes.

So beautiful!!!!

Artist Reply: Thanks Analua! I'm hoping to plan some of the yellow aloe blooming species this year to add some color variety. Also looking to track down some red blooms I saw once, but so far, no luck finding any.
