Oliver history includes that of the South Bend Iron Works, maker of the Oliver Chilled Plow and Hart-Parr who is credited as the founder of the tractor industry. The model 77, introduced in 1947 along with the model 66 and 88, it replaced the model 70. The wide front axle was an option that cost $78.
