Detour

I found this shopping trolley in a back alley by a railway bridge, away from nearby houses and deep in the hedgerows and thickets........made me wonder if someone didn't live in the mass of dark vegetation, or if there wasn't a secret world just the other side of it................ Photo + painting.

Commentary piece..signs of our time...so many of these have been misplaced at local stores..and homeless people carry their belongling about as they ramble around the streets picking up trash and treasure...the city made it a criminal offence to take one from the grocery...I can picture this one cart hidden away from the authorities by a "law breaker"
