The New Year started off wrong for one of these guys. I watched this for about 30 minutes. The fish is a gar. No gills. It is an air breather. The gator kept it in its mouth for about 10 minutes before it quit struggling. Nature is not always nice. A few people at the trail in the Everglades could not watch this unfold. Lots of cracking and popping with a little gurgling thrown in. It pays off getting up at dawn sometimes. No cropping or other post processing done.
