...her storm

acrylic abstract painting/photo/digital/corel paint/filters/ kitchen sink : ) created to go with a poem.... --------------------------- --------------- Promises lost on the edges of time- Vows that never belonged to me, nor ever were mine- Caught in a web of faith of my doing- With childlike happiness my heart perusing- And yet still the sun sheens bright- Though the moon seems to careen quietly each night- For i have lost many in my lifes 'when'- Only to smile in memory, guarded in storms once again....

Reba McDonald 04 Jun 2005

Great work Sher.

Martha Yokawonis 04 Jun 2005

Our changeable hearts - your hair is beautiful like a cloud - Sometimes the image I have of you is a snow queen in a very modern house with white walls and tasteful furniture. Other times I thnk of you as sometime like Ulma Thurman's character in "Kill Bill" brandishing swords and knives and riding a harley but in this picture you look more like Stevie Nicks a creature of wind and fire and moonlight.

Juan Gomez 04 Jun 2005

Such passion in this self-portrait...this burns right through you when you look at..a burst of energy which cannot be ignored..Sher you out-did your-self in this work...

Beautiful poem and painting! Sounds like "mixed emotions" and maybe even emotional withdrawal. That's what I see in the painting, too. In any case it's magnificent!

Nancy Costley 04 Jun 2005
