Soft pastel on-site painting on Pastelmat card. 24 x 30cm. Painted late afternoon in October. This lake is a dammed up portion of the river Saane that stems from the Alps near Gstaad and finally joins the Aare and then the Rhine. Well known locally for Zander fishing.
