Nice to think of it appreciated somewhere though, Dave. Do you always keep the wood raw and unoiled? A bit of wood oil usually brings out the grain. Anyway, a very nice piece. Hope all is good. Number 7 is coming along. :)
Artist Reply: I like to use boiled linseed oil a lot or danish oil . I've also used a deck stain on pieces that I kept outside in the elements. Sure would like to know someday where this one ended up. They go on journeys some times : )
looking forward to your #7 ... we are still getting some warm temps , but not so hot that I can't work outside thankfully.

have a desire to do more and more, I'm pretty much self taught and still learning. There are scores of tutorials on you tube as well as people that blow me away.
