Snow Storm Moving In

This is a painting of an eagle coming to its nest as a winter storm moves in over the land. I based this in Colorado where I live in Gunnison. There are many beautiful animals here and I have started a series based on them. In this scene the eagle is flying through the clouds as the full moon rises over the forest.
