I can't stop looking at the holy ascension of st. john, nina's blues and this one. I would love to make you an offer on these. Let me know if any are sold already. I love this genre of your work. Amazing portraits...my favorite. Way to go Jones!!

Maybe I dont know what a face looks like? Because seeing this is like seeing flesh and essence for the first time.The paint cant be pined down it vibrates against the burlap begging me to invest in its under standing. This study is human and freaken awesome!

i got to say rob, this is one of those landmark paintings your talking about.it is diffently one of your best.i love the feel and style of it,great composition and design.i like that burlap i could deffently see moby dick on burlap.amazing piece buddy
