Now I wonder why the sun has all those spikes? Could it be symbolic of something that has contributed to these 'sad memories?' It's possible. Simple has an elegance all its own. Folks seem to have forgotten that, Dave. Hope all is well. :)

Sad memories are realities from long ago that wound us from time
to time , like thorns and spikes from the sun that had shone in those moments , and in our longing that love will resolve ... someday ... if ever .
