TRIBUTE TO MY OLD SCRAPPER

He loses his balance when lifting his leg to pee and walks in circles with a head tilt due to a neurological disorder. People endearingly associate his affliction with the RCA dog peering at the Victrola. Nonetheless, he’s constantly by my side. I’m referring to my tail gunner, Hercules, a 14 year old Schnauzer. Long may he prowl or should I say hobble the streets of Brooklyn.

MARVELOUS FRIEND INDEED. I LOST MY SCRAPPER 9YRS AGO. MY 5TH GERMAN SHEPHERD. WILL NEVER FOGET ANY OF THEM. MY KIDS. NOW I DOTE ON MY REBEL.

Artist Reply: Thank you. Sorry for your loss. I already lost a cat. Dogs however are with you like a shadow. It will be very tough when he no longer is with me. I've done this painting at a time of my dog's slow decline. Art therapy is the best remedy for the feeling of mortality
