In some ways eggs are pretty strong but in many instances they are easily broken. Mom taught me to 'inspect' eggs in the grocery store to make sure none were broken or cracked. Cracked eggs can let in bacteria and can make you sick if they are not well-cooked. I think that principle can be carried over to thoughts as well. They should be whole and unbroken before they are shared. A lot of damage/harm can be avoided if we think carefully before we speak. Just think about that one for a second.
