Mountain Treasures

This is a painting that I created during the Covid panic. It is one of a series and I’m hoping to complete before the end of the year. I painted this because the memories I have from growing up in Colorado. I lived outside of Palmer lake, with a park, and cripple Creek. In these areas as a kid I did lots of hiking in the summertime. Although this particular mountain scene is not from where I grew up the colors are. And so I drew up on my memories as I painted this.
