This sculpture is based on a recent drawing though it has one basic difference from the sketch: no singular eyebrow. It just seemed, with the material used, too delicate an add-on. But otherwise, I think it works rather well. In this life, you MUST learn to 'roll with it' or you will get left behind or even rolled over. Though, on second thought, that doesn't seem such a negative nowadays. The piece is 13 inches tall, 13 inches wide and 6 inches deep. I used my special paper mache mixture with the addition of plastic, Styrofoam and newsprint. It's what Original Jones Art calls 'an original' in northwest Austin, Texas.

Artist Reply: Thanks, Ginger! I am rather nostalgic for the pre-Internet days when our doses of human idiocy were small and truncated on the Evening News---which I stopped watching after awhile also. Now we know everything 'newsworthy' in moments. Celebrity Worship can go the way of the Dodo bird---please!! :)
