You could call a human a walking receptacle. I didn't call it 'walking trashcan' as I am a bit more hopeful than that. All of us have heard the phrase 'garbage in/garbage out.' All of us have heard the phrase 'input equals output.' But it seems that a lot of us don't take the implications of these simple phrases seriously. I assume it is much like other phrases like 'treat others as you would yourself' or 'do no harm.' All of these are simple easily understood maxims, if you will. They could be called truisms.
