Sometimes it's difficult to distinguish between the look of agony and the look of ecstasy. This is a small gel pen drawing on a sticky pad measuring 3 by 2 inches. I call these my 'pure' drawings because they are done quickly without slowing down to 'think' too much. So I guess this is Original Jones Art trying to keep it pure in northwest Austin, Texas.

Unexpectedly distorted proportions.. quite appealing! Hope you're safe, Charles, and this is not influenced by... whatever.

Artist Reply: It is difficult not to affected by this atmosphere of uncertainty that permeates everything around me, Nikolay. But it hasn't gotten me down---well, too much. There's a lot of 'whatever' around these days. I'm missing my art shows more than anything else, I think. Thanks for the nice comment. :)

Very good!! Expression!

Artist Reply: Thanks, Erik! It's the primary reason why I like my small quick drawing technique for procuring my visual ideas. It would have been SO easy to over-think/work this. Now I might try a painting of it. BUT sometimes a painting can be tricky. :)
