We truly are 'so full of holes.' I guess you could start at the molecular level, of course. And the fact that we convince ourselves of things that are, logically, so full of holes, we could drive an 18-wheeler through and still have room for an iceberg or two. This is a 6 by 4.25 inches gel pen drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. It's Original Jones Art at his holistic best here on a dreary rain-soaked day in northwest Austin, Texas.

So emotive...

Artist Reply: In much the same way I meant 'Blind Eye' to be, Sara. My process is to begin a drawing and let it flow out as naturally as possible onto the paper. No conscious preconception of 'finished product.' I like working that way as it becomes something of a voyage of discovery. Probably why I don't feel the need to travel to exotic places. :)

Holes... cracks.. "That's how the light gets in" , said and sang L. Cohen. He was so right! Solid structures never get light in)) We're more outside than inside. that's true!

Artist Reply: Now don't try to get 'hole-ier than thou' with me, Nikolay. Loved Cohen inside and out. No one like him today. Dylan is just a shadow of his younger self---maybe all we 'older' boys are? Nah, not you nor I. :)
