I painted this to go with a poem/song lyric I wrote about Hope. Hope This heavy wooden hope chest Really needs to move again It’s sat too long in the dust Of sad places where it’s been I can’t move it on my own Or remember what’s inside Please move it to A well-lit room Where hope is open wide.
