The first generation (1949) Chieftains included a radio, under seat heaters & a Remington Auto-Home shaver. A 1952 Chieftain also added a red light to remind drivers if the parking brake was still on & Popular Mechanics magazine (May 1952) rated the Chieftain at 14.9 seconds from 0-60 mph.
