This 1959 Ford Fairlane was a model sold between 1955 and 1970 by Ford in North America, and the name comes from Henry Ford's estate (Fair Lane) near Dearborn Michigan. Two years earlier (1957) the big news came with the introduction of a power retractable solid hardtop on the Fairlane 500 Skyliner that folded into the trunk at the touch of a button.
