Sulphur- crested Cockatoo: Is anyone home?

This artwork shows a Sulphur-crested Cockatoo investigating a gum tree hollow, they do this to find suitable nests to raise their chicks but often find them occupied already by other birds or possums. When Cockatoos get a fright they tend to tell everyone in their vocal sounds and postures. It is very amusing to watch their antics. This painting is framed.

Thank you! It starts off with an idea and is a bit messy (at this stage I have learned never to ask "what do you think?") and then with a few more hours starts changing into what you imagined and felt and saw.
