Post Hurricane Irma

Things are getting back to normal here in the Tampa Bay Area. I lost my electricity 7:45 PM Sunday as Irma's winds strengthened here. I did not get it back until 1:35 AM Wednesday. Yes, I lost everything in my refrigerator and freezer & had a huge branch down that covered my back yard & made a loud crash around 2 AM Monday, as you see in these photos, & my very large side yard was covered in branches and debris, but these things are minor to what could have been & what was expected. Irma's last changes in path, going into Marco Island & another jog east before she made a direct hit on Tampa Bay saved us from experiencing much more destruction. She was a cat 2 hurricane when she came to us. I heard on the radio that 130 mph winds were clocked at Madeira Beach in Tampa Bay and Winn Dixie lost their roof. Your prayers obviously worked. THANK YOU!!!! Top photo from my balcony & bottom photo from my windows down stairs.

I was there too even though I was from another state. Glad I was, my girl friend would have been alone. Scary storm! Sorry you lost that beautiful tree.
