I have a 'love' show coming up very soon, so I have been using that as thematic material. The poets of the past said that love is eternal but over the span of my life I have learned that it must also be inside or internal to all of us and it is an essence that must be nourished if it is to expand and flourish. We are only seedlings of love, tiny candles that together only can create a great and sustainable flame. :) This is a 16 by 20 inch acrylic painting on gallery-wrapped canvas and the first piece of Original Jones Art for 2016. This piece is dedicated to the one I love and comes from the heart of Texas as well. :)

This is similar to Gerard Kinney's work. He conveyed themes like this but in a more ethereal way without any solid definable lines.
