Kelp Fantasy

I've always been amazed by the incredible shapes in nature and kelp has intrigued me with its soft round tones and lines. I used a color correcting red filter to expose this unique image of macrosystis at Catalina Island off the California coast - enjoy!

Fantastic colors and great composition. I love the underwater world. I can spend hour just floating above the rocks in the ocean and watch the quiet world below me.
