Hunters moon occurs two moons after the Sept. full moon. Called the Hunters Moon as that is the time of the year when whitetail deer are in rutting season. Looks like the three members in this deer camp have left for their deer stands early. Excitement bounds this morning, fresh snow on the ground, deer will be moving, must get to their well before the sun comes up. Remnants of the fireplace are burning down. Whoever left the camp last forgot to turn out the lights.
