You made him look more Even Proud & beautiful than in nature.

Artist Reply: She is a very proud and delightful pet. She's a lover, not a fighter,....but she will protect us from anyone trying to hurt us!!

It's a clever idea for a mail box. I have seen some different interesting ones, and this is different. Somewhere there may a mail box museum and this would belong in it.

Artist Reply: I agree, a mail box museum!! :) Thanks!!

"CUTE".. ISN'T IT FUN TO PAINT THE MAIL BOXES.. I'VE ALWAYS ENJOYED DOING IT TOO. THIS IS A REALLY NEAT ON.. JOANIE

Artist Reply: Thanks Joanie! I have always rescued Shelties through the Sheltie Rescue programs in Indiana and Georgia. This one really was fun and it almost looks exactly like our lovely little tri-collie blond sheltie, named Kali!! "The Beautiful One!" kali thinks this is her sister, but always tries to make sure she gets in the door before the mailbox sheltie! LOL Have a great day and thanks for the feedback!! :)

Nicely done, Mark. I remember when there was more than bills and junk mail arriving in those. :)

Artist Reply: Yes Charles,...more bills, junk and more bills, OH...and my wife's magazines, these days! The funny thing is the postal workers use our real mailbox, right above this one, but other delivery people use it without using a message that they had placed medications, or other pertinent items in the Sheltie box. Once, an unmentioned carrier company put my medications my wife had purchased 2 weeks earlier, in the sheltie box and we finally found them, once it was clear that the company in question had really delivered them...Who knew? Great to hear from one of my favorite contemporary artists!! :)
