A piece that is a slightly larger entry in the Figure series. Can something evolve backwards? Hmmm? This acrylic painting on gallery-wrapped canvas is 20 by 16 inches. It is a 'tip of the hat' to one of my favorite bands of the 70's/80's: DEVO. Original Jones Art. Addendum: This piece was chosen for inclusion in the AVAA's 2015 Fall Show in Austin, Texas.

Artist Reply: As I recall, I saw them here in Austin in the late 70's and it was a great show. Now at least two of the original line-up has passed recently, though the brothers Mothersbaugh are still in attendance, Stanley. :)
