Double rainbow

This unique painting was started by a deceased artist. I repainted the entire painting with my own ideas and style. Originally there was one large tourquois tree, a shed, and a cloud. I replaced the shed with an old house complete with rusty tin roof which sits along Rifle Range Road in Wetumpka. One evening I saw a double rainbow over my neighborhood and decided to include it in this special painting. Remembering the bright chartruse tree tops illuminated from the setting sun, I tryed to make the trees in the painting have a similar look and feel. The painting measures 20" x 24" and is in oil on canvas.
