I mentioned recently in my blog area that I had attempted a version of this idea in clay.
This was done on 2002. It measures 2 by 5.5 by 2.5 inches. Original Jones Art solidifying in Austin, Texas.
Artist Reply: Hey, thanks, Mark! I wish I could find some material I could use to make some large pieces---that wouldn't cost a couple of appendages, that is. ;) Hope you are doing great in every sense.
Artist Reply: Thank you, Stephie! As my description explains, this was a bit on the primitive side. I'm seriously thinking of doing some more 3-D pieces soon. :)
This is Really Great Work, Charles!!!!!!!!!!!! My Internet Service provider has been down for the last few days! Just catching up! I have done some sculpture work as well! I used to sculpt wild stuff out of hot molten plastic at the factory that I used to work at! Another Fun " Form " of Art!!!!!!!!! Cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Artist Reply: Hey, Chris! Those ISP's can be a real pain, eh? This was fired years after my fiddling with the clay. It's primitive, but does give another interpretation of 'The Misbegotten' theme. :)
Artist Reply: I've done a few pieces in clay and had them fired over the years. I left this one looking rather primitive--but I think it has a certain charm, Rebecca. :)
