Ancient mosque in Medina. This painting was featured on several Middle Eastern newspapers during an Art Expo in Khamis Mushayt, SA in 1996. The real mosque had a star at the top, but when religous police saw this, they scratched it out and damaged the painting. It was restored and repainted with the familiar moon.
