They obviously still get on very well with each other, Brenda and Enrique. In the meantime they got married. The reason why Brenda suddenly left for Spain is called Carmen and is 16 months old now. At first it wasn’t that easy for Brenda because she didn’t know any Spanish. Assisted by a retired teacher, who stayed most of the year at the Costa Brava, she soon made a lot of progress. Now she speaks and understands Spanish fluently. Enrique has a daytime job in the harbour, at night he waits tables in a small restaurant. Brenda works in the same eating house while Gloria and Mingo, Enrique’s parents, look after Carmen. Not one single euro is being spent carelessly. All their savings are deposited in the bank in order to be able to start a restaurant of their own one day.
