This Blue And Gold Spirit Cat Face is original and handmade by me. The cat sculpture is a deep deep blue: Indigo. The deep indigo is accented by gold. As I was creating this sculpture, I was being reminded of Lapis Lazuli! I shaded and blended the indigo blue and the gold polymer clays. There is a high mica content in these particular clays, so they can burnish to a shine! I hand painted two clear glass cabochons on the back to create the eyes as I wanted them to be. The eyes are a very very light green! I think they contrast nicely with the deep blue and the gold.
