18 x 24 Canvas. new work. I have often thought I should paint more "seasonal" paintings... which included winter. However where I live "winter" usually is chilled rain and color faded in light filtered by a blanket of grey. I almost miss the blinding white and crisp sharp cold of the air and the unobscured crystal blue skies of the prairies where I grew up, but it is in such contrast with the best of what my subject offers, so I take more to painting scenes that make it much more easy to lose myself on those lazy days of summer. I never liked the cold anyway. This original may be available. Contact the artist for the gallery contact.
