This is a piece I was commissioned to create. The client's criteria was a sort of monochromatic 'folk art' style image of a girl in a blue willow patterned dress, with a dark and simple background. It was quite a lot of fun to create, especially since I am a fan of the blue willow pattern. The history itself is quite interesting.
