Woodford Reserve Brewery

This is where Bourbon was born in the early 1800s before prohibition. Bourbon is the only drink in America that is recognized as an American drink. Congress passed that law. Woodford Reserve is the only place where bourbon has been continuously made, meaning that it was legal for it to continue making it through prohibition for medicinal purposes. Next year will be its 200 year anniversary. This very interesting place is in Versailles, Kentucky. I hope you enjoy these 2 photos of some outside buildings; top is the building where bourbon ages for years and the bottom photo is the building for tourists to taste, buy and start tours. Awesome tour.
