Is part of "Lost Series." Which is information, talent, and spiritual truths lost through history. "Still Raising" speaks to the influence of African pottery and mask concept has had on the Japanese culture. The symbols read top to bottom love, resilience, and strength. Which for me as a black man describes my cultures core characteristics.
